Okay, so this whole blogging thing went down hill fast.
Luckily I had a friend, being the good friend they are keep me accountable.
So I would like to give a shout out to Kortney
this blog is for you
On Saturday some girls from work and I went to a wedding reception. Okay we totally were not like the "Wedding Crashers." Although being the strangers in the wedding and trying to pretend like you knew everyone was really fun! It was a fellow employee's sons wedding, and she invited everyone from the Nursery to the dance part because there was a live band, and it was a big hall. Anyways, we ended up being the last ones there, and got kicked out...lol...and the whole night we avoided creepy single men, and danced to Elvis. Sigh, I love weddings. I am not going to lie, I started to cry when the bride and groom shared their first dance....and i started to cry when I saw dads dancing and twirling their daughters...oh and also shed a few tears when a fellow employee stepped on my toe during a polka...Good times, good times. Man do you ever get a work out doing a polka...Well its getting late, and I have to go to bed, I hope your dreams are full of polkas and twirling!

nrocpop

So tonite has been a rough nite...Heather (best friend\ roomate) was going to have a bag of popcorn for supper tonite. But not just any bag of popcorn, it was her last bag of popcorn that she was saving for a special occasion. Unfortunately, the two of us were distracted by commenting on random and old kins blogs ( i am not sure if that word was appropriately used) .....(what is the actual definition of kin)...anyways back to the popcorn...
heather burnt the popcorn, and then choked on the black smoke arising from the sad open bag of popcorn.
update on the popcorn, heather is at this time on my floor in my room eating the burnt popcorn, so the night is not as rough as thought

Second

And my dad found out that a boy that he grew up practically next door to him in Sri Lanka now lives in Saskatoon! Bizarre eh?! Saskatoon, I mean people are shocked that I moved from Abbotsford to Saskatchewan. But Sri Lanka...you go from humid 35+ to -40..i dont think anyone told them about the weather. Anyways the week before the roadtrip down, Oliver (my dads childhood friend) and my dad would talk on the phone, and they both seemed like giddy school girls. I had the opportunity to meet lots of Sri Lanken families(theres lots and lots of us here!) through Oliver and his wife Anouja. They took my phone number and will call me over for Curry and Hang out time! It was pretty sweet... I like to think of it like I am going back to my roots. Even just the first night when we went for dinner we were the first ones there, and we were already like one hour late, everyone showed up at their own accord after of course. (Sri Lanken time usually starts 2-3 hours after) Supper was late, spicy and everyone ate with their hands. Also I think there was a misunderstanding, my dad explai

The First

Well this is very exciting, I am now officially blogging. Actually this is not my first type of blog and I always get so excited about these and never update them. But not this time, I will be motivated to keep all you important people updated on my well being and boredom and to anyone that feels that they arent important and dont care to be updated on my well being and boredom I just want you to know thats okay...Respect
Well today was another day at work, I got to go for a walk with these two kids and we stopped at a Starbucks and had some Jones Soda's. Anyways there was little guy who was telling me a story, and before he started he shared with me that it was to be a funny story but once he got going I had no idea what he was saying. But I dont think i have ever seen anyone share a funny memory with so much passion, and so much joy as this little boy that it was nearly impossible not to laugh! It was really cool. Starbucks customers that walked by couldnt help but smile, and there were these two elderly ladies at the table beside us and they were even laughing. It was intense and everyone got to be a part of this boys world just for a few moments.
I am going to do some errands and some cleaning now, but if you will so happen to look to your top left to the Spiffy Sri Lanken. That is my father, that is Rexy. Some of you may know him as Tabby's dad that doesn't remember your name. Some of you know him as Rexy. I thought I would just add that in there because of my new campaign (An operation or series of operations energetically pursued to accomplish a purpose).
So as I end this first blog I leave you with:
